Need More Songs Like HOT TO GO! ASAP

I'm super late to the Chappell Roan party but god is she fun. I now need many more songs like HOT TO GO! in my life. So far I've collected Girls Just Wanna Have Sex by Maize and a lot of the stuff from GUTS by Olivia Rodrigo, particularly Bad Idea Right. What other high energy synth pop bops by girls should I add to my playlist? No Kpop recs needed as I have like 12 playlists for that already.

Dua Lipa's Houdini (but really her Radical Optimism album fits in with Roan's debut if you're making a collection), for something that's come out in the same period.

Taylor Swift's New Romantics does it for me.

Have you already checked out Remi Wolf (funkier) or Sabrina Carpenter (a little lower energy)? Or Maisie Peters (a little more indie)? I assume you do not need to be told about Carly Rae Jepsen's e*mo*tion album or oldschool Madonna, lol

Response by poster: I'm looking for higher energy stuff with a strong beat and slightly strung out vibes lol.

Dumb Dumb by Mazie is about as slow as I want to go. Dua and Charlie xcx's music would qualify but their sound is a little too mainstream for this, and Carly Rae Jepsen's cute but I'm a little over her right now.

Remi Wolf and Maisie are great additions, though. Just put Photo ID and Psycho on the list with Chappell.

Response by poster: Blame Brett by the Beaches is also a good match!

'Guess' by Charli xcx and Billie Eilish. Maybe more by Charli, I haven't gotten fully into my brat era yet.

Ooh I am ready for this question! Baby Queen for sure, check out We can be Anything or want me or nobody really cares.

Staying in the UK, try Skylar, Classy Lady, or Hair Tie.

Maybe Caity Baser? Might be too much in the direction of pop, but I quite like I'm a Problem

And going more obscure, So Good hasn't done much, but If I had A and I hate it here are a lot of fun.

Leaving the UK, Miya Folik captures this vibe a little, thinking of leave the party and What We Wanna

I think Marina (and the Diamonds) has this vibe. Check out Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land or maybe Oh No!

To finish, maybe New Heartbreak by Sad Alex. I don't think most of her songs capture this vibe, but I feel like this one does.

Hemlock Springs is perfect for high energy synth stuff!! Girlfriend and Stranger Danger are both fun

Some more recommendations: ATARASHII GAKKO! are fun, maybe Woo Go

Chrissy Chlapecka also has several bops, I’m So Hot and Head Bitch are some of my favourites

If you're open to German rave type music (with everthing that entails), Ikkimel is fun too, Bikini Grell is having a Moment on Tiktok and Keta und Kravall is also catchy

Scissor Sisters has been my Chappell Roam pairing.

That song (Hot to Go) is a giant '80s pop star homage, so go back to the classics:

Madonna - Cherish, Lucky Star, Dress You Up, Holiday.

Tiffany: I Think We're Alone Now.
Debbie Gibson: Only In My Dreams
Cindy Lauper - Good Enough

Perhaps some older Kim Petras? I could see Hillside Boys fitting this vibe.

Including:

- "Glam", Allie X

I'm not so great at matching vibes, but maybe the album Slut Pop by Kim Petras would fit?

Speaking of Kim Petras (and thanks to other commenters here on other posts where I learned about SOPHIE)
I can’t get this song out of my head

Also while more like a YouTube personality, Caroline konstnar has a similarly delightfully deranged set of songs (and spoken word comedy)

I'd throw in
Grandma - Haiku Hands
Clutter - Jessica Winter
possibly
Forever - Mïrändä

I have so many songs to add when I have some time; this could not be more thoroughly in my wheelhouse! Love the Upsahl suggestion for sure.

For now I'll chime in with Dance Away The Pain by Number One Popstar

(Oh, and I think Block Your Number is my personal favorite Maude Latour song)
