What news websites have "lite" versions?

I am absolutely in love with CBC Lite (I might make an FPP about it) and wondering if there are other news sites that have a version like this.

This is a low-bandwidth site that has very little "design," no images, only headlines, and you can sort news by latest or "Editor's Choice".

I was thinking of making an FPP about it, but thought I might see if other news orgs are doing something similar first.

Well, the appearance of Pinboard popular bookmarks is similar to what I see at CBC Lite, but I am not sure it qualifies as "news" so much as a ranked list of popular links. Just FYI.

Best answer: Not exactly a news site, and not exactly text-only, but the UN's COP28 website has a "low carbon" toggle that simplifies some site features.

Best answer: The Guardian (sort of. you swipe through the paper, but it's simple and ad-free despite teeny images.)
