Mods for Civ 6

I bought Civ 6 ages ago and have finally got around to playing it. It's great! But I'd like to be able to just noodle around building things without having to deal with other players or constant barbarian incursions. Is this possible? I just want to play the most boring version of this game I can.

I've tried creating a game with 1 opponent, but the game adds in multiple random opponents, and usually close to me despite choosing a huge map size. I turned off the Barbarian option but still get barbarian incursions. I tried installing the Sandbox Solitaire mod but it says it's not compatible and I don't understand why.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Huh. Using the advanced “create game” window I’m able to set no other players, set the number of city-states to 0, and turn off barbarians successfully… I’m sorry this isn’t working for you! I’ll see if I can look up some mods. I like the Take Your Time mod personally.
