Can you recommend a good watch repair place in NYC?

I have an old watch that crapped out about 10 years ago. As I recall, I took it to get a new battery and was surprised to find that a new battery didn't solve the problem, so I just cast it aside. Now I'd like to resuscitate it. I live in Park Slope, so local is good, but Manhattan is also fine. Good, reliable work and not too expensive are my criteria.

I can't recommend a place yet, but I may be able to in a couple days - by a STAGGERING coincidence I am going to be very soon taking a clock to a repair shop in Greenwich Village (an errand I've been meaning to do for a while). I can report back once I do if you like.

It's been a few years, but I've received good repairs from Mikhail, Precision Watch Repair, in the exchange at 20 West 47th, all the way back in the right rear of the exchange. You can find him on Yelp, too. Precision Watch Repair New York.

Response by poster: Thanks to you both. I think I'll go with Precision Watch Repair as all the reviews seem to confirm he's good and reasonably priced!

Looks like you found something already, but in case you need an alternate, my husband really liked Grand Central Watch.
