Can't find my zoom recording

I just recorded an interview on zoom. I stepped away from my computer when the file was being converted and now I don't see it anywhere and can't find it. I have just the free version. Help! Am I totally f***ed?
Once you’ve tried everything else, try to record another zoom meeting and then take note of where it saves to. For whatever reason, zoom recordings always seem to save to the strangest spots for me

Response by poster: I think zoom "unexpectedly quit" in the middle of the conversion and I think it's gone.

Well, it was converting them from somewhere. Even if the conversion failed I suspect the original source data may still be on your computer—it seems unlikely that the unexpected quit would actually result in deleting the file(s) in question. What operating system are you using?

Response by poster: If it is still on my computer somewhere I don't have the first idea how to find it, so please suggest things to try. I followed raccoon409's suggestion and recorded a snippet and could easily find that, but no sign of my interview.

Do you see files in the directory /Users/[yourname]/Documents/Zoom—which in a Finder window you would get to by clicking Documents in the left sidebar, and then opening the Zoom folder?

All of this with the caveat that I'm using an enterprise version of Zoom and I'm not sure if you get the same level of detail or features with a free Zoom account.
