Spirit AUS-LAX Discontinuance?

Did Spirit Airlines just axe their direct flights from Austin-Bergstrom to LAX? I've been flying this route all year for work. As of this month, I can't find a single flight going forward that doesn't lay over in Vegas. Naturally, their customer service is nonexistent and has no mechanism for asking this specific question. Anyone have any insights?

I don’t have specific information for your situation but I will say that just a few months ago, my wife had a return flight on a long weekend round-trip booking canceled (before the trip, she wasn’t stranded unexpectedly) when flying Spirit. We discovered after she got back that Spirit had simply ended service out of our local airport that weekend.

I would not be surprised if this was a similar thing.

Best answer: I found this page, which says the flight is suspended until March '24.

Airliners.net is my goto for insider info on civil aviation. In this case, they really only confirm what KTG posted above. Specifically:

These routes currently operate but will not be flown in January and February:
ACY-MYR, ATL-CLE and AUS-LAX
