Masking in Taiwan, late 2023

How are Taiwanese folks approaching masking at this point in the Plague? I want to conduct myself in accordance with local norms.

I am aware of the various (um, kinda byzantine?) official recommendations, but what I'm wondering is what the current actual practice is amongst residents as I'd rather not be accidentally casually offensive.

Best answer: I’m here now and I’d say the train I’m on is 20% masked? Seems like you can do whatever you’re comfortable with and you won’t stick out either way.

Best answer: I'd say the number of people masked up on the MRT and bus is closer to half (I'm one of them), but I agree with A Blue Moon--you won't offend anyone by your choice.
