Blue Yeti Microphone not picking up audio?

Hi all, I have a Blue Yeti Mic for podcast recording and for some reason lately, when I plug in my Blue Yeti USB during an interview podcast, I cannot hear the interviewer but they can hear me? Unless I unplug the Blue Yeti and use the built in mic in my Dell, that only seems to work so far for recording podcasts. I am not sure what is going on here. I even tried to do a solo podcast recording in Riverside FM Podcast studio software recording, but there is no sound coming out as well. I checked the sound settings on my Dell windows, but I have no idea what is going on!
According to a google search, I found this website and it sounds like it might be that the sample rate of the mic and software are mismatched. You should probably check the manual, though.

sometimes the yeti will reset your system's audio output to the headphone jack on the bottom of the yeti, try plugging some headphones in? Does your system prefs indicate the audio output?

Yeah - what stray said - your system is trying to use the yeti as your output device. Check the audio output device in windows and/or whatever software you are using

When I plug my mic (not a Yetii, but similar) into my Windows computer, sound output is switched from speakers to the headphone jack. I assume this is to prevent feedback squealing. There is a way to change it back but a lot of people use ear buds.
The yellow light suggests you havent selected the Yeti as the input device.

For mics like these that have built-in monitoring and audio output, you definitely want to be using headphones and plug them into the mic’s output.
