App for sale

Can you recommend places on the net that I can advertise the sale of my app (that is the complete ownership of) for free?

I always thought the App Store would be a good platform for kids' audio and so I created an audio story app.

I wrote the stories, hired a professional to narrate them, edited the recording and mixed the music and SFX. Sadly, I'm not a marketer. I've released apps before that have done alright with little input but this app is doing nothing at all. I haven't made a single sale despite reducing its price and improving its graphics. My marketing budget is zero and other priorities and taking up my time.

It's a good app. The kids I've tested it on love the stories but I just don't have the time to dedicate to it. I could leave it moulder on the AppStore or I could sell it to someone who could make a mint from it. There's no reason it shouldn't generate decent revenue. It really needs to belong to someone who knows how to market it.

…and I need to raise some funds to cover my bills next month.

I wondered if there is any value in the app and if anyone would be interested in buying it. The thing is, I'm not too sure where to list it.

I've found a couple of sites geared towards people buying/selling apps -- Flippa, for example -- but they charge a fee. I'm completely skint at the moment and can't stretch further than free.

Can anyone here recommend places where I could hawk this thing? The quicker the sale, the better.

No idea how good it is for selling but it's the right crowd I think.

Maybe find companies who are already selling/marketing something similar and send them a direct message?

Or find a third party (could be anyone with some knowledge, like a blogger) and offer them a percentage if they sell it for more than a set threshold amount?
