What to use to remediate my collar peeling/curling on a button-up shirt?

I have a bunch of button-up shirts from J. Crew / Banana Republic etc, that don't have a place for a formal collar stay. After repeatedly putting these shirts through the laundry, the collars have a tendency to curl/peel. The best way to solve this is obviously ironing or dry-cleaning, but I am too cheap and lazy for that. What's the second best solution? Any products you would recommend?

You want collar stays made for polo shirts. Some are sticky, others are thin metal triangles that can be attached to the collar. I don't have specific recommendations but you that keyword should be a useful starting point.

I guess it’s technically ironing but I would just hit them with my hair flat iron which is usually pretty quick and easy

There are stickers, which you could probably replicate for less money with office supplies of some kind.

I use paper clips, bobby pins, or binder clips right after the shirt comes out of the laundry, left on until I want to wear the shirt
