Where to get a new suit around Seattle?

I'm looking for recommendations about where to get a new suit in the Seattle area

I don't dress formally that often and only have one proper suit. That one I acquired to participate in my sister's wedding party, so it's not precisely my tastes. Since I'm attending a wedding in about 3 weeks, I thought it might be good motivation to get something I really like.

I'm not looking for anything extravagant, but I'm comfortable financially and would pay for something good quality which will last. I wonder if 3 weeks is enough time to get anything tailored to me, but I figured it was worth asking.

Alas looks like Indochino is 4-6 weeks, but I knew somebody who went that route.

Suitsupply is a good option if you need something on a pretty fast timeline.

Nordstrom. they have inhouse tailors to alter an off the rack suit.

tipsy bumblebee's suggestion—buy off the rack and have it tailored/fitted—is going to be the only way to do this without paying for millionaire-level service. A fully bespoke suit is going to take 3-4 months minimum, with an initial measurement and a midpoint fitting (and possibly a final fitting). If your existing suit was bespoke, call whomever made it and ask what their speedy timeline is. If they already have your measurements and they haven't changed that cuts down a lot of the lead time.

FWIW my first Real Suit was an off-the-rack Nordstrom one, and Nordstrom's tailors took it in for me in just a couple weeks. Super reasonable tailoring fee and it was well-done work.

I had a similar situation where I ended up for my OWN wedding having to pick between a decent rental and finding one more or less off the rack. Every custom place was full up (as foxfirefey points out) but I walked into Nordstrom and found something in my price range (on sale too luckily) with the help of a floor person within 20 minutes. Plenty of options.

I like the suit, it was tailored within a week, and with rush, a very nice new shirt, and a couple other things I was out the door for under $800. You could very easily go under or over that, as indeed another friend of mine did around the same time.

One thing I'll note is that you may not be able to find a vest in time. A good friend my size who loves suits (incredible value on this man) lent me one that happened to match but if he hadn't come through I would have had to go to vintage shops or pay a fortune for a rush custom job.

I second the suggestion of Nordstrom. I believe the basic tailoring is free with if you sign up for a Nordstrom credit card. I wouldn't ever suggest someone sign up for a store credit card except maybe in this instance. Regardless, tailoring is done in-house, so only two stops required to make it happen--one to pick out your suit and have the tailor make some marks, two to pick up the finished suit! Be clear on a budget before you go and be up front with the salesperson so they don't waste your time with something absurdly expensive. Also dress like yourself but nice so that they get a sense of your own style when they meet you.
