Searching for violin/noise audio montage I heard in church.

I'm searching for the title/artist of an audio 'montage' that I heard in a mormon church in the 80s in Southern California. It features a (classical violin?) that starts peaceful and isolated... as it continues on... you hear all sorts of louder noises like explosions and newscasts on top of it... nearly drowning the violin out, but not entirely. I think it was supposed to teach a lesson about how God is always there behind the chaos.... or something. Anyone recognize this? Thank you.

This is a stretch, but in the off chance... Simon and Garfunkle's 7 o'clock news does a similar thing with news broadcasts slowly overwhelming a soft song (silent night)

Contact the church and ask who handles the music.

ETA: (Sorry, missed the part that this was in the 80s)
