Tool for Cross-Fiber Friction Massage

Is there a tool to aid with cross-fiber friction massage? I'm dealing with tendonitis on the top of my foot (anterior tibial tendonitis). Doing cross-fiber friction massage tires my hands very quickly. Is there a tool I can use to assist with the massage?

Yes there are lots! You may want to search for Graston (a physical therapy technique) or Gua Sha tools. I have this inexpensive one from Amazon. You can get all sorts of different shapes depending on the area you are trying to target.
