What is the background music in this Y2K Travelocity commercial?

This commercial. The sweet one where the guy meets his new grandbaby and they have a nap together. Shazam is failing me; maybe it’s not a long enough sample.

I’m apparently feeling weirdly nostalgic right now, because over the weekend this little micro-soundtrack got stuck in my head, and now I want to find my way back to it.

Based on nothing at all, my guess is that it's a work for hire unique to this spot. It's possible you could track down the artist and/or creative director and find the longer version that was surely recorded and then edited down. It may also be lost to history. Great tune though!

The opening sounds a lot like the opening of 'You Sexy Thing' (I believe in Miracles) by Hot Chocolate.

It’s probably “sound alike” music written specifically for the commercial. My partner has done this professionally on occasion for commercials. They want a specific vibe, but don’t want to pay for licensing or deal with lyrics… or whatever.
