Online publishing platform with marginalia support?

I'm trying to publish extensive research (hundreds of pages) with lots of images and videos and such and I want to be able to use the margins for a lot of this. Something like this. Know of any platforms or themes that would support such an endeavor?

Tufte-css. Note that this is just CSS for plain-vanilla HTML (marked up a certain way) and doesn't involve any particular CMS. There are a number of CMS themes that adapt this CSS for use in CMSs, which you can find if you search around.
