Searching for Shared Digital Calendar & Task Manager

Mr. tuesday and I currently use the cozi app, which also has a web interface, to manage a shared calendar. With Cozi we can also create shared lists and we use that for groceries, trip preparation, home repair projects, etc. But (you knew there was a but), Cozi does not accept .ics calendar invites. They recently changed the web interface and made it more annoying and complicated. So we are looking for a new calendar/list/task app. What do you use? Do you recommend it?

Things we need:
- Can be accessed via iPhone app and on a PC or Mac (website or apps)
- Calendar: one-time and recurring events
- Lists: anyone can make and update lists, even if they were not the original creator of the list
- Can accept .ics calendar invites
- Paid is okay, under $100/year (ideally less, but I have no idea what the prices are like)

Nice to have
- A way to store recipe ingredients (this is helpful for making a grocery list)
- A way to assign list items/tasks to a particular user
- Ability to search calendar for future or past events
- A way to nest list items

I use ToDoist for all of this stuff, even for calendar events I have a project that holds events that have dates. I don't do everything with it that you're doing but it's flexible enough that I could make it do all of that if I wanted to. Not exactly sure how it integrates with iCal though.

I have some minor contacts in the calendar software community and will ask around over there. Off the top of my head, I could offer a work-around of sorts. Whatever you use for email, see if they have a calendar function (Gmail folks have Google Calendar, Comcast email has some sort of calendar, etc.). Open the meeting invitations in the email and allow the meeting to be added to _that_ calendar, then add the calendar as one of those calendars you can subscribe to in Cozi. Clunky, but would keep you from having to switch from Cozi right away

We use a shared Google calendar (or just invite each other’s personal Google calendars), and shared Apple Notes app notes. Respectively.

We use Google calendars (we each use our personal calendar and share with each other, though you could also both use the same one) and Google keep (can do shared notes and checklists). Androids obvs work well with Google calendar but you can also make one your primary calendar on an iphone. I like that these are both phone apps and accessible on the web.

Best answer: We use Google Calendar and an app called My Groceries that is designed to be shared. We keep all our usual grocery items in a list. When we need something from the store, building a list ahead of time, either of us can indicate it needs to be bought. He could be in the store without me, and see the items as I’m adding them. Vice versa, I’m at home and I can see he’s already crossed off the tomatoes. You can use My Groceries to create other lists with non-grocery names. We keep our kitchen renovation tasks as a list. You can add a short description to each list item. No way to assign due dates though.
