Unsolicited Manuscript long-shot

Can anyone remember a website that explains the pitfalls that an Unsolicited Manuscript has to overcome?

Some years ago someone posted a link (possibly in a comment) to a web page written by someone in the publishing industry. This page explained at considerable length all the hurdles your unsolicited manuscript would have to overcome in order to avoid being consigned to the bin.

I'd love to find it again, but all my searching has come to naught.

Can anyone help?

Your question made me think of this post, but upon re-reading I'm not sure it's what you're looking for, as it's more about rejection letters than about the path to publication. Posting anyway just in case!

Is it Myrtle the Manuscript?

(Although please note that it was written in the nineties, and any contemporary descendant of Myrtle's would have to face a different, though not entirely dissimilar, set of hurdles, probably not involving "one hundred forty-seven paper clips of various sizes shapes and descriptions, sixty-six rubber bands, eighteen International Postal Reply Coupons, and forty-nine dollars worth of loose stamps.")
