Like a broker, but for dogs?

I want to hire someone to find dog boarding facilities that will accept certain kinds of difficult dogs - to do all the internet research, phone calls, etc, and then present me with options and kind of a package writeup. What would this type of person be called and how would I find them?

You could probably find someone on Fiverr to do this research for you, or some other "virtual assistant" type service. Your vet or a local dog trainer might have a list already compiled.

If your dog came from a rescue, they may have recommendations.

If your employer has a good EAP this may be a service they offer. The better EAP plans have a "life assistant" service where they do exactly this sort of thing (i.e. call around and do the research at places so you don't have to). Everything from grandma broke a hip out of state and needs to stay in a rehab place for several weeks to we all have covid and a pipe burst and I need a plumber yesterday.

I want to make a joke about a "dogsbody," but I feel like I should have something useful to balance it....

Would your vet have any ideas? If not, find out whether they would object if you offer one of their folks a couple of twenties to check a set of dates.

It's kind of an Executive Assistant task, so Fiverr or Upwork. Some vets/ animal hospitals board dogs, as do some trainers; I'd start there.
