Please recommend an android SMS Spam filter

I managed to recently end up on someone or mutiple someone's spam list. I am starting to get 2 spam texts per day, some with filthy language.
I can't just accept texts from my contacts list as my job requires I receive other texts.
My MNVO does not have a filter option. I'm not talking about phone calls--just SMS.
I currently use QKSMS texting in conjunction with Should I Answer which should stop them, or almost stop them but I'm not sure it is working. They haven't slowed since I enabled this combo. I need a better alternative or ideas.

I gave up and just got another phone number. Someone kept 'replying all' to spam texts that were coming via email, and there was no way to block them. I'm hoping someone has some ideas..

I have a super cheap Chinese phone (Umidigi A7S) that came with Android 10 Go, and about a month ago I started getting a fair old flood of SMS messages about parcels having just arrived, each with a different caller number and each containing a web link that naturally I had no interest in following.
The Android installation on this phone is quite vanilla, and AFAIK the messaging app is just Google's default one, but it only took a couple of weeks of reacting to spam texts by marking them as spam and blocking their callers to train it to mark and hide them on its own.
Pretty much any spam filter will work better if you use whatever facility it offers to mark spam as such instead of instantly deleting it, so if that's not what you're already doing, maybe try it for a few weeks before switching to a new and therefore probably untrained filter.
