Finding my printer's email address

How do I find my Brother printer's email address?
I'm setting up my parents' new Brother laser printer. (Model HL-L2390DW). I don't have a PC available to use, just my phone. We setup the wireless network fine, and I can print from my phone. Their old HP inkjet had the ability to email the printer to have it print something remotely. This is important since we don't live in the same area and often need to print things for my folks who are not tech savvy. I've looked online but having trouble finding the email address. Can anyone help?

Best answer: Unfortunately everything I can find online suggests this isn't possible with this model, you would need to get the HL-2395DW or other compatible model. In the online manual, setting up Brother WebConnect doesn't have the 2390 in the list of applicable models. This Link in particular does not show this model as being able to print by sending to an e-mail.
We have a 3290 and we can't print via an e-mail either (though we don't need to). I looked at ours and there is no option on the printer; we have the same two-line older-style LCD character display as yours as opposed to the touch-screen GUI panel on models that have the Apps to support this. We can print from our phones too, but only if we are at home / connected to the same wifi network.
Could they simply send the document to your e-mail, and then you can print it from your phone?

Response by poster: Yeah, I see after some more research that it's not possible with this model. We have found out that my dad can use email on his iPad, so I can email docs to him to print. Thanks folks!

Concur. In the list at the bottom (models covered by this FAQ) 2390 is not listed. It's either 2380, or 2395.

Although as a programmer, I'm obliged to include the disclaimer that email is horrifyingly insecure and I would look for alternatives. There are lots of other ways to do this, some more fiddly than others. Brother also has a service called Cloud Secure Print that looks like it won't take much setup.
