Looking for tax lawyer in NYC

Just what it says: I’m looking for a tax lawyer who can help me, an individual taxpayer, with a problem with IRS. (Specifically, they’re saying that one of the organizations I did freelance work for WAY overreported my income. As in, overreported by a factor of 100. Yeah.) I have an appointment with the IRS tomorrow to try to get it ironed out, but if they make any noises at all about not correcting the error on the spot, I’m not going to fool around — I’ll let an experienced professional deal with it. Thanks in advance.

I’m in NYC. Yes, I have the 1099 and my bank statements from the relevant period, as well as a screenshot from the organization’s internal system showing what they paid me. So, yes, I’m going to the appointment prepared. But, as I said, I’d like to have a name of a lawyer just in case the agent at the appointment makes any noises about not being reasonable. They amount they say I owe is quite substantial, and whatever a lawyer charges me, it wouldn’t be anywhere near that amount.

I don’t have any lawyer recommendations, but when I had a similar issue of my employer’s accountant double reporting my income, the IRS was totally unhelpful because they were just going on the info reported. What was helpful was contacting the accountant, who was able to re-report to the IRS fairly easily, which resolved the issue.
