Where to donate an unused binder / compression top?

Due to an order mix-up, I recieved a Tomboyx black compression top, size 3x, in the mail. Tomboyx told me to keep or donate it instead of returning it. Are there any charities or groups you've had experience with that could make sure this gets to a person who could use it? Willing to mail it anywhere in the US. I'm not very online except for Metafilter, so I can't post it on Facebook or other social media sites.

I often donate stuff to Goodwill when periodically cleaning house.

I would donate it to whoever I normally donate clothes to. Normalize finding binders on the racks at Goodwill.

There are a handful of groups that take donations & then redistribute binders, specifically. I don’t have personal experience with any but googling “binder exchange” brings a few up.

I know a school social worker who gets them to teens in need, without regard to how their parents feel about that. They were specifically requesting larger sizes recently.

My first thought would be the Ali Forney Center, though they don't currently have binders on their trans-specific wishlist. There's contact info here.

Point of Pride accepts binder donations and redistributes them to people in need. I don’t have personal experience with them but I’ve heard only positive things about them from friends.

I wouldn’t recommend donating it to Goodwill if you can avoid it — it’s less likely to find its way into the hands of someone who needs it that way.

Apologies, if this is inappropriate, but if you would be interested in giving it to my partner, xe would be very, very grateful. It's even the right size! Send me a message if you want to do this.

Either way, please don't give it to somewhere like Goodwill. There's little chance of the right person finding it there and it might well end up tossed out if it won't sell.
