A brand of women's waterproof coat with a "P" on the drawstring aglet?

Do you know of a coat company that puts a brass letter "P" on the "aglets" (or tips) of their coat drawstrings? Trying to track down a dream waterproof.

I saw a woman about a month ago in Glasgow railway station. She was wearing a fabulous, slightly edgy, dark blue and ecru, long length waterproof coat. It looked expensive.

The way the woman and her partner were dressed gave me the impression that they were either French or Italian, if that helps.

The only identifying feature I could see on the coat was on the hood(?) drawstring. There was a brass(?) letter "P" in place of the normal "aglet"(?).

Any ideas?

Response by poster: Before anyone asks, I've googled - and it seems un-google-able. Plus I've looked through the P section on various fashion apps.

I guess I'm hoping it might be a particular trait of a certain company or brand.

....Prana? Definitely not euro, fits potential others.

Those are normally just called "zipper-pulls". Aglets is on shoestrings.

However, I am not aware of any company that uses such on their products. It could be a custom pull from Etsy and other craft places. You can certainly find them on Etsy of any initial you want.

Best answer: kschang, because it's on a drawstring OP is correct that it's an aglet.

OP, I would guess it's a monogram form of a brand. Could you describe the letter P? Was it, e.g., blocky and serifed like the P in the Prada logo, or curvy and pseudo-cursive like the P in the the Paul Smith logo?

I am Canadian and have a similar coat by Pajar, a Canadian brand.

Response by poster: Hi ZaphodB,

It was blocky, and perhaps 5mm in depth. A chunky sans-serif font, so not Prada.

Response by poster: The coat looked like the "P" aglets were an integral part of the design, not a later customisation.
