Racially-tinged advertisements in the "Man in the High Castle" series?

This passage from an analysis of the Philip K. Dick book captured my attention: “Some white Americans (especially those with positions in the government) darken their skin and hair to look more Asian”. I recall a review of the Amazon Prime series that mentioned something similar — ads in the show for hair-straightening potions for people to look more Asian. Can you help me find instances of this -- a review that mentions this or times in the show where the audience sees this?

I remember it as being interstitials throughout the film, as if you're actually watching TV - breaking the fourth wall. This was years ago though so I could be misremembering.
