How do I find my own mobile number on my new phone?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm a bit of a Luddite. I bought a Nokia 105 recently. This is a new version of the phone we all used to have in the early 2000s and play Snake on. I got it so I could go off grid every so often and to break my addiction to my smartphone. I've put a Three (U.K network) Pay As You Go SIM in it, but I don't know my own number. I need this to log into the app and top up my phone. Would anyone know how I could go about finding my own number? Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you call someone who can identify it through caller id?

With some operators you can text a number to find out what your number is but I don't think Three do this. I think you'll have to maybe call a friend, or go rooting around for the bit of paper that the SIM came with, if you still have it. Might also be on a phone bill or something. Sometimes it's also saved in Contacts but I think that depends on the model of phone.

Search in your menu under settings. There should be something called about phone or system or similar. They like to squirrel this away at the bottom and hide it because it's boring. It's where the hardware model number and SIM status and stuff all are. If your phone knows its own phone number, this is where it will be.

With a 3 SIM, it'll be printed on the credit card size piece of plastic that you popped the SIM out of, and on the envelope that the SIM was sealed in.

Might also be written in tiny numbers on the SIM itself.

Response by poster: So it turns out the SIM hasn't activated and so I'm gonna need to try a new SIM. Upon activation, I should receive my number by text. Thanks for all your help!
