Who does Elisha Applebaum remind me of?

I’ve been watching Fate: The Winx Saga, and the character played by Elisha Applebaum reminds me so strongly of some other actress but I can’t think of who it is.

In my head, the character is also wearing her hair in two buns, and has on an orange-ish asymmetrical jacket with a lot of pins or something on it. I was thinking maybe Lalaine, from Lizzie McGuire, but I can’t find any screen grabs that are like the picture in my head. I was also thinking Chelsea Peretti from Brooklyn 99, but that’s not the right age. I feel like the character was a teen, maybe had sidekick or sassy best friend vibes rather than a lead role, and this was something I saw in the late 90s or early 2000s, but I’m at a total loss. Help?

To me they only look, like, 10% alike (facially) so I don't even know why I'm suggesting this, but could it be Rayanne from "My So-Called Life"? That's just the vibe I'm getting. I've never seen Elisha Applebaum in motion so I'm only going on some photos I saw.

Was it live action or animated? For some reason I was thinking of Jen from MTV’s Downtown or Spinelli from Recess. But I haven’t watched this show so I’m only going on visuals...

I haven't seen this show, but based on her IMDB headshot I instantly thought of Virginia Weidler, who played the sassy pre-teen sister in The Philadelphia Story, among other things. No asymmetrical jacket with pins in that movie, but she's been in a lot, so maybe something else in her filmography rings a bell?

My first thought was Emma Watson as Hermione from the Harry Potter movies - she has a very similar shape to her mouth, similar(ish) hair and eyes.

If her hair were curlier and her freckles more numerous I suppose I could mistake her for Arrested Development's Alia Shawkat.

She also reminds me of a young Assumpta Serna (if you're a fan of the Sharpe's Rifles series from the mid 1990s.)
