Twitter hanging and hasn't been able to load for days

I've not been able to load Twitter for days, either through the site or the downloaded app. I check the downdetector sites and am told no problem, but won't load for me. Any suggestions?

Where exactly does the problem manifest? Can you access Twitter from a different browser? If that doesn't work, can you access it from a different device? If that still doesn't work, can you access it from a different internet connection (e.g. mobile data vs wifi vs somebody else's wifi)? If all that fails, try connecting to Twitter through a VPN.

if you're logged in, try logging out and then back in again.

Response by poster: All of a sudden just started working again....God knows why?

Most likely a busted DNS cache at your ISP that was finally refreshed.

I have this problem sometimes and clearing my cookies usually works. You can search and delete just Twitter cookies if you don't want to clear them all.
