Hoopla on e-readers?

Do any non-backlight e-reader support hoopla?
From my basic searching, it looks like Amazon Kindle does not. Amazon Fire does but I find the backlight on that (and other tablets) migraine-inducing after even a moderate session. Alternately, is there a way to get Hoopla books onto a Kindle?

When it comes to eReaders and tablets and such, Goodereader is my go to site for news, reviews and the like.
A search for Hoopla pretty much confirms what @teraflop mentions, but it may be worth digging into the site for the Onyx Boox information.

I use Calibre to convert epubs and load them onto my kindle. It’s free and pretty straightforward, but you do need a computer to be the intermediary.

It sounds like what you're looking for is an Android tablet with an e-ink screen, such as the ONYX BOOX series. Apparently people have had success running the Hoopla app on their devices.
