Best platform for virtual school talent show performances and donations?

What technology platform(s) should we consider for our elementary school talent shows and (separately) fundraising "coffee house" nights?

We'd like for interested community members to be able to view an online streaming show that includes different performances originating at different locations. I don't think we need a ticketing system per se, but would also like to be able to collect donations from attendees. It seems like we could probably pull this off using zoom and gofundme, but I'm thinking there might be better options for us to consider? How would you suggest to best structure these events and what technology platforms would you suggest to optimize attendee enjoyment and maximize donation revenue. Talk to me like I'm a second grader.

We use Zoom for our company talent show and it worked smoothly. Some people performed live and some were pre-recorded (someone managing the Zoom presented the video from their computer). Last year we had a Drag Show during Pride that was hosted by several Queens, they played some amazing prerecorded videos and also chatted with us live, and they took donations by Venmo.
