Make my arrrow keys work in Tweetdeck again!

I used to be able to click on a multi-photo Tweet in Tweetdeck and use the arrow keys to flip through the images. I got a new computer, and now that isn’t working. Is there a way to turn that back on? I’m on a MacBook Air, but the previous computer was a MacBook Air, too, and as far as I can tell all my other preferences made the transfer.

Not sure if this was how it was working on your old computer, but you can apply keyboard shortcuts to any menu command in any app by going to System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts - App Shortcuts and then pressing the + sign to create a new shortcut.

You just have to make sure you get the name of the menu item correct.

This happened to me when I got a new Mac M1. I suspect it's a Safari 14 Big Sur thing. I was able to get the functionality to work in Chrome, so maybe another browser is the answer. Oh. also In Safari if I click on one of the photos, the arrow keys work.

(sorry, meant to say if I click to go to the next photo, the arrow keys start working.)

Response by poster: (I'm not using a browser, I'm using the Tweetdeck desktop app, which I loooooove otherwise.)
