What is this European kids' movie I saw in the mid 70s?

Sometime between probably 1974 and 1976 my dad took my sister and I to a movie that we remember as being European (for some reason, my sister and I remember it as being Hungarian, but that may not be true).

The main thing I remember about it was at the end, kids were on some playground equipment, and it either went into space, or they imagined that it would. I also remember that it was weird enough that even at a young age, our response after we saw it was "what the heck was THAT?". We saw it at a mainstream theatre, so I don't think it was some kind of arthouse movie. It may have been partly animated. I've looked at lists of kids' movies released in those years and didn't find anything that fit the description.

It was later and not European, but Explorers (1985) has a tilt-a-whirl car going into space.

This is a long shot, but in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - 1968, there is a flying car.

Flight of the Navigator, from 1986, was filmed in Norway but is otherwise pretty American in flavor. I thought of it and Explorers, both, at your description. But that's waaay later. Sorry.

There’s a Russian kids-in-space movie from 1975 called A Great Space Voyage. Fits the time period but I don’t know if it ever showed up in any theaters in the US.

The Little Prince? It’s a lateral guess but the timing is right.

Not European, but I had a similar "What the heck?" reaction to Escape to Witch Mountain (1975).

Maybe Bedknobs and Broomsticks?

There were a surprising amount of Eastern European fantasy / children's films that were released dubbed in the West in English during the 60's and 70s (Hahó, Öcsi! / Tony and the Tick-Tock Dragon comes to mind). Are you sure about the Hungarian part? And it included live action and animation?
