What is this (Latino) (Christian) holiday that has street races?

What holiday/celebration is this? I believe it’s Latino/Christian. It happened within the last week. It might be “Feast of...”. There is a custom of street races. It’s celebrated in NYC. (Some of this might be wrong.)
I have a feeling that the "custom of street races" may not be a custom that is attached to the holiday as such, and that you may be seeing a case of "it's holiday X, let's do something" and the people near you just happen to do street races as their thing.
December 12th is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a day that commemorates an appearance of the Virgin Mary in Mexico City, so that may be a possibility.

Agreeing that it might have something to do with the Lady of Guadalupe, because that feast day was last week and I might imagine that some Latinx communities may celebrate it (she is the patron saint of Mexico). But I don’t know if it has anything to do with street races.

The street processions held by the Diocese of Brooklyn for the Feast of our Lady of Guadalupe can involve matching track suits. At the bottom of this news story, there are pics of processions from 2017.

Last Sunday was the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. That's the beginning of holiday celebrations in Mexico. I have no idea about races...
