Lenin and Marx on the highway

Got any good podcasts on Marx, socialism, or Marxist critiques of capitalism? Aimed at non experts.

Interested in particular episodes or whole series, historical and theoretical approaches, not looking for analysis of current events, this is part of an attempt to consume less “news”.

Best answer: Revolutions Podcast is currently having a series on the Bolshevik Revolution. Although you will certainly gain from listening to the other series (it begins with the English Revolution and has been working its way forward, most recently covering the Mexican Revolution), its not at all required. It is 24 episodes (!) in and has just started actively dealing with Lenin himself, so there is plenty of intellectual background. In particular, lots of good stuff on early socialism. Highly recommended overall.

Best answer: Try David Harvey's Anti-Capitalist Chronicles. Broadly speaking, each episode examines a particular Marxist theoretical concept and discusses how it's relevant the modern world.

Best answer: David Harvey has a course of video lectures on Reading Marx’s Capital, but you can just listen to the audio too.
