Which is the best social media platform for comic strips?
I'm interested in following and possibly also posting some drawings and comics. Which is the best place to find and follow other comics, and share my own. Instagram? Facebook? Something else?

Tumblr is not as active for webcomics as it used to be.
A lot of cartoonists use Twitter to share comics, though it necessitates a different format to a standard comic strip.
Instagram is also popular, again you can/should get inventive with layout, e.g. using Instagram's multiple-image post feature for each panel. I would recommend Instagram over Twitter as it's intended as a visual format, plus the algorithm is pretty good at helping you find other cartoonist's work.

I see a number of cartoons on Instagram. If I were going to pick a platform that seems vital today, I'd go with that. There are also services like Webtoon that are set up specifically for web comic artists. I follow a few webcomics on that platform, I cannot speak to their business practices or if there are any downsides to using it.
If you're fairly casual about it right now and will just be posting sporadically and non-comic content, I'd go with Instagram first.

Instagram, by far. Twitter has too many issues with multiple images.

Instagram. But many comic artists I follow also post to Twitter and Facebook. ETA and their own website sometimes too.

tumblr at least has useful themes for hosting comics and being able to link to the entire thing and know how to navigate it, but yeah, i'd do sharing and networking on another site

Twitter is about to purge adult and nswf stuff the way tumblr did, so if you've got queer characters or some nude figure drawing you may get erased or otherwise censored.
