Left handed digital calipers

I currently use Mitutoyo digital calipers. They are, like so many things, built for right hand use. I am looking for comparable digital calipers in a left hand version.

Are you looking for specific recommendations or just any at all? Amazon has a few if you search for "left handed calipers". Here's one pair, though it doesn't look like there's a Mitutoyo brand.

Best answer: Niigata Seiki has one, although it is wicked expensive compared to the one suggested above. Mitutoyo's site says they make left-handed calipers only by custom order.
(Also, omigod, it is possible that I translated or supervised the translation of the instruction manual that comes with your Mitutoyo product...)

Best answer: Outside of the cheapies, afaik only Insize make a decent range (good quality, 6/8/12" sizes, with/without interface, non/coolant-proof, etc) of digital calipers. Misumi have a single 6" model. Someone else (Fowler?) make one with a flippable display

Both Mitutoyo and, I think, Misumi, will customise some models to order, but that's $$ on top of $$$.

Your options open up if you learn to read standard vernier calipers - Mitutoyo and Misumi both have off-the-shelf models, there's second-hand (& usually little-used) good names like Brown and Sharpe, etc., etc.

Best answer: There is this Fowler one, which might be more comparable to a Mitutoyo calipers.

Although the way they make them left-handed is by having a weird flip up display.

(On preview, yeah, what pinback said)
