Will these urine test strips still be accurate?

The color of the unused leukocytes square on the strip (for UTIs) is not the same as on the bottle.

Brand of strip: 11 Parameter Urine Test Strips for Urinalysis 155 Count.Urinary Tract Infection(UTI) Reagent Strips for Urine Glucose, pH, Ketones, Protein, Kidney Pr

I purchased and opened them this April. The bottle says "use within 60 days of opening." I have stored and used them as instructed (keep away from light and moisture, replace cap immediately, etc.) The overall product expiration date is in 2021.

The leukocytes square should be pale yellow. The ones in the bottle are dark pink. The positive results colors are varying shades of purple.

Why it matters/why I don't just go buy new strips:
With a home test result, I have previously been able to use the doctor video conference service my health insurance offers to get an antibiotics prescription.
I am not certain if they would give me an antibiotics script over video conference without a test result, and I don't want to waste $10 and my time to find out.
If I have to run out and buy new strips, in terms of the time/money/energy expended, I might as well just go to an urgent care.
UTIs are awful and I want relief as fast as possible.

Best answer: Sorry these strips have gone bad. They won't give you valid results.

Best answer: That's the answer I got from the testing company too. I was hoping the answer might be like, technically you should throw them out but in practice they'll probably work. :-/ On my way to urgent care now.

There are over the counter pain meds for UTIs - you can at least get those ASAP.

Walgreens has AZO brand UTI test strips, if you want to replace them.
