Where to watch World Cup final in Tigard, OR?

Some friends and I will be in Tigard this weekend for a Saturday night wedding. The USWNT is playing in the World Cup final at 8 AM Sunday morning. Are there any good soccer bars nearby that we can hit up? Would prefer to stay in the general Tigard area, but also open to suggestions in Portland. Thanks!

If you can get into Portland, and you want the best atmosphere, check out the Toffee Club.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot in the suburbs, especially at 8am on Sunday morning.

Best answer: Just saw that Thirsty Lion at Washington Square says it's opening early for the World Cup. That's much closer for you.

(The website is for both their Tanasbourne location and Washington Square. I'd call whichever location is closer so you can confirm that they'll be open.)

Oh, there's also a Buffalo Wild Wings in Beaverton that might open early for the match. Definitely call ahead to find out for sure.

The Nike campus is in Beaverton and I had a business meeting there one day during the World Cup. All of the employees were out in the reception area watching the game on a huge screen and their cheers interrupted our meeting several times.

I have no idea if employees will be there early on a Sunday, but if any other mefites are Nike employees they might have more info.

Response by poster: The Thirsty Lion was just down the street from our hotel and looked great, but in our post-wedding fatigue we opted for just watching at our hotel bar. Thanks for the suggestions, all!
