Summertime Mix Ahead Cocktails?

I recently saw a recipe for a 'mix ahead' summer cocktail that was bourbon, some juice, cayenne pepper (and a bitter?) that you mixed into a kolsch when you were ready to drink it. Where did I see that recipe at?

It sounded amazing, but I can't remember where I saw it and I can't find it via my usually reliable google-fu. I remember something in the article about baseball, but nothing is helping narrow down the results.

Can anyone help me find this specific recipe, or recommend a similar shandy (spicy and refreshing is the key, I think)? Thanks!

Was it at Basically (part of Bon Appetit)? They've been doing cocktail recipes once a week for the last few weeks.

Response by poster: That's definitely tickling something. It felt like a high end publication (if I remember correctly). I can't seem to find what I'm looking for there though.
