Educate me on sustainability so I can educate others

I have a deep passion for environmental sustainability. I had a realization that my skills align quite well with being an advocate for change, and helping people learn to change. I'd like to turn my passion into a depth of knowledge about best practices and current science. What are the blogs, publications, news sites, or researchers I should familiarize myself with and follow?
If you're interested in climate change mitigation, Drawdown provides a good jump-off point for understanding which practices you might want to learn more about.

What scale do you see your self working at?
i.e. street, neighbourhood, town, state\region, nation, cross-border, planet
Do you see yourself moving up and down the scales? Genuinely want to know as many resources are directed at certain levels of action.

Response by poster: Unearthed, I think state-regional, or town level.

I would recommend taking a class on interpretation course if at all possible - it helps to know how to take scientific information and mold it into a story people care about. Check out the National Association for Interpretation for some info (https://www.interpnet.com), or you can likely find classes at your local zoos, nature centers, or public lands.
