Diggdot.us search from Firefox?

Is there a search plugin for Firefox to search Diggdot.us? They don't offer an on-site search, and I've had no Googluck.

I usually set up a keyword search in these cases. Right-click on the search field, choose "add a keyword for this search...". Then just enter something like dd in the keyword field. Now you can search Diggdot by putting "dd searchterm" in the URL. Actually easier to use than a search plug-in in my experience.

(This is assuming diggdot.us actually has a search field somewhere. I can't find one.)

Could you use the Google advanced search using "Diggdot.us" in the Domain field. I believe this should work for what you are trying to accomplish, although it isn't a Firefox plugin.

Or you could combine the two ideas, and effectively get exactly what you are looking for:
  1. Create a new bookmark in firefox
  2. Go to the bookmark manager, and change the following properies:
    Name: diggdot.us - Google Search
    Location: http://www.google.com/search?as_q=%s&as_sitesearch=diggdot.us
    Keyword: dd
Description: Type "dd " to search for on diggdot.us.
  3. In the firefox address bar, type "dd microsoft" and you will be directed to this page.

Sorry, I guess I stopped reading before you said there was no onsite search. But charmston saves the day!

Search plugins are easy to write, involving little more than what charmston has laid out for the bookmarklet.
