Hope for retrocalcaneal bursitis?

Today I was diagnosed with retrocalcaneal bursitis. I start PT next week, but I am feeling really down about dealing with and treating another chronic ailment. Have any of you had this? Can you offer me advice or hope? (You are not my doctor, etc.)

Aw, I was watching this with hope for similar advice/reassurance and am sorry that there are no replies. Just wondering if you'd seen this earlier post on a similar issue.
