Sense8 official dvd release?

Does anyone know how I can get a definitive answer on whether Netflix might ever do an official DVD box set release of Sense8 ?

I have seen some DVD sets of series one at various places online, but I suspect they are less than official.

I know that as a streaming service, releasing a DVD might seem self deafeating, but I hope Netflix can also see some value in it as an advertisement of quality original programming. Hope that makes sense!

Best answer: Rumour has it that they are working on special features for a physical release but I've yet to see an announcement. Netflix has released some their other titles on physical media so it isn't outside the realm of possibility. There is, of course, unofficial copies floating around.
