I'm in Vienna, Austria for one more day and want to find a logic puzzle magazine/book in German or English for the plane ride home. Where should I shop?

We're staying in Vienna and have access to public transportation. What specific shop(s) should I check?

At home I religiously go through multi-packs of Dell Logic-Lovers' Logic Puzzle magazines: specifically, the ones like the zebra puzzle where you get a bunch of clues and have to fill in a grid to figure out the solution. I know Dells are probably not available overseas - just giving some background.

Knowing my love for LPs, a friend gave me a "P.M. Logik" when I was first studying German and I adored it but lost it. I've studied German for 2-3 years now and I think it would be a hoot to try it again. But I can't seem to find them, or any other German logic puzzles! I have glanced through the Relay shops in the airport, a few small bookstores, and most newspaper stands we have passed in the city. We fly out of Schwechat on Thursday morning.

Danke fuer Ihre Hilfe!

Best answer: I've always found the most diverse selection of magazines and newspapers in commuter/regional train stations. Supermarkets would be the next place to look.

Best answer: There must be a whole rack of them in the newsagents at the main station

Best answer: If it were me, I would try the bookstore Morawa on Wollzeile 11 (near-ish to Stephansdom). But maybe, if your German is fluent enough, call ahead and ask if they have what you want.

Another big book store is Thalia on Mariahilfer Strasse. Again, call ahead.

Best answer: Seconding that Thalia – They have a decent magazine section as well as a games section.

Response by poster: Thanks, all - the Thalia at Wien Mitte had the LP mag I wanted and lots more. Cheers!
