Seeking Sonoran Desert nocturnal animal photo prints

A few years ago, I saw some photos in a magazine (probably New Scientist). They were black-and-white photos of desert animals (Sonoran Desert, perhaps?) taken by automated motion-detector cameras for a research study. I remember javelinas or other wild pigs, a hare, coyotes, maybe a lizard, maybe an owl or other birds. I’d like to buy prints of these or similar photos. I really liked the raw aesthetic of the animals visiting the automated camera, but I’d settle for something similar without that exact feel.

Response by poster: Also, if someone knows the name of the actual photographer or project that I’m referring to, I’d love to know it!

Yup, Alex Badyev is who came to my mind, as well.

Not nightvision or for a study, but Casey Smartt's work is lovely and in a desert-y setting.
