Interactive Horror Films and Videos (for living bodies)

Hivemind brainstorm needed! I'm putting together a party where I want to have a screening of a horror film that ENCOURAGES people to interact. All suggestions accepted, even if never done before.
It could be a movie like "Rocky Horror Picture Show" or "I, Victim" (where audience is polled to make plot choices like a "Choose Your Adventure" novel). Budget is probably not an obstacle, but love super low-fi approaches as well.

Response by poster: Cool -- love the inspiration!

I have a horror enthusiast friend person who recommends Atmosfear/Nightmare series of party games. They came out on VHS and DVD, but would need to be found on eBay or something.
Here's the video from one of them on youtube. There are a lot of others.
Another option metioned by my friend is a simple drinking game for a screening of Lost Boys. But it is pretty hardcore. Only one rule. Every time someone says Michael you drink.

I don't recommend the gimmick used in The Tingler in today's litigious society.
If you're up to splitting the movie into pieces, you could show different parts of it in different places, so people in Room A see "scenes from the bar" and people in Room B see "scenes from the house," and there are breaks where people can chat to discuss what's going on in the other areas and try to figure out who the killer is/how to take out the monster before the end scenes, and prizes for best answers.

I was just looking at eBay for work, so let me share these two searches with you:
"haunted doll"
"ouija board"
Bring them out halfway through a screening of The Conjuring or similar.
When the movie is over, start talking about The Philip Experiment.

Pick a haunted-house type of film that has a LOT of jump scares, preferably one that the audience hasn't seen. Give some number of people Jeopardy-style clickers and they compete to hit the clicker the closest to the next jump without going past it. Winner keeps playing, losers hand off their clickers to someone else. Give the rest of the group an incentive to throw them off by shouting etc.
