I Don't Want to Return My Amazon Return

I bought a vinyl record on the outlet section of Amazon (.ca) a while back. The package was lost, so they were supposed to send me a replacement, but they ended up accidentally sending me a completely different record. My problem is I happen to want both this record and the one I was supposed to be sent.
I'm considering requesting a return and just not returning the item, allowing them to charge me again for the record I was supposed to receive. I paid significantly less for it than what they are now selling it for; same for the one I was wrongly sent.
Are there any problems with my plan that I'm not considering?

Best answer: Have you actually contacted them? Their customer service is pretty spot-on. I don't think it's going to a problem at all, and chances are they'll let you keep both (ask me why I have two perfectly good new Roombas, with Amazon's blessings, when I only ever bought one).

Best answer: Talk to Amazon. They are very reasonable! You might keep both, who knows.
I once ordered a table saw from Amazon. They had the best price. They told me it was delivered I didn't see it. It said delivered. I told them I didn't see it, no one knocked on my door etc. They sent another one. It was marked delivered in my Amazon profile. What the hell it going on here?
Turns out it was around -25 low, -10 as a high here in Minneapolis for a week or so. Really goddam cold. And I had two brand new table saws sitting in my upper driveway for a week. I saw two of them when I went out to fill up a birdfeeder. Oh.....shit... I never walked out there to my front yard. Why would I at -20?
Amazon was totally cool though. They picked that other one up and was no problem.

Best answer: I just had an double shipment from Amazon last week (first shipment was "delivered" but never showed up, so they reshipped it, then the original showed up after the 2nd package arrived), and I contacted customer support about it. They said I could keep it, keep it and pay for it, or return it.

Response by poster: I messaged Amazon and I just heard back from them. They are going to send a replacement and charge me the original price, while I keep the record they sent by mistake. Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my question.
