I'm a recent East Coast transplant and BDNY doesn't actually play blues. Where do I go to get my blues fix?

Where are you from and what defines blues there? And do you expect to dance to it or not?

Response by poster: Colorado, which has an active blues dancing scene in Denver and Fort Collins. I guess I'm looking for more of a fusion-type scene than I've been finding out here .

Best answer: fusiondancenyc.com and bluesdancenewyork.com have weekly dances that might meet your needs.

Best answer: Gotham City Blues has a FB group by that name and hosts dances on Wednesday nights. To be honest, I wouldn't expect much from them because it's in a crowded restaurant and it's hard to hear the music and dance space is really limited, but you can give it a try.

Having just searched for the above group, Facebook also suggests Friday Night Blues NYC and Blues Dance New York as relevant FB pages.
