What movie is this?

When I was younger I vaguely remember flipping through channels one night and witnessing a horrible death scene from a horror movie. Can you help me figure out what movie it was?

Basically there's a girl chained up to like a furnace or something. I think she had blonde hair. She's being held captive by a killer with some kind of helmet on, maybe a motorcycle helmet with a dark visor.. She's like begging for her life, and the killer says nothing as he opens the furnace thing and flames shoot out and engulf her. The part that got me was that it showed her face melting while she's screaming. It was horrifying and I haven't forgotten it after several years. Anybody recognize the scene? Google has failed me.

If this was the killer the movie is My Bloody Valentine (1981)

Just FYI if you go to watch it and the face-melting is missing, that's bc there's a cut that removes the graphic parts of the murders.

This isn't an exact match, but could it have been The Bone Collector? It's from 1999 (what year range would your movie have been from?). There is a pretty terrible scene with a woman killed by a steam vent. It really wasn't a good movie, but that particular (terrible) scene stuck with me.

It might be The Exterminator II (1984). That's an exploitation movie with a motorcycle-helmet wearing vigilante who's favorite method of, um, exterminating bad guys was with fire.

Best answer: Could be Nightmare Beach/Welcome to Spring Break. I can't find that particular scene on youtube. But there's definitely a scene like that in the movie. I threw some screengrabs into my google drive here.

EDIT: You can find it briefly in the trailer
