In the commentary track from the DVD of John Waters' Female Trouble, he mentions that the actress who played the schoolroom snitch, Margie Skidmore, is (perhaps currently, as of the DVD release in 2004...) a talented tattoo artist. Anyone out there know where/when Margie/Margaret (?) Skidmore practiced/practices her craft?

Well, she's been in at least three of his movies, so chances are good she's somewhere in Baltimore, right?

This page lists a Maryland tattoo parlor named Alfie and Margie's. No idea whether it's the same Margie, or whether the place is even still open.

I do bet that asking Baltimore tattooists would turn her up quickly.

You could try calling the Baltimore Tattoo Museum - they might be able to help you here. Or send John Waters a letter and ask him - he still picks up his fan mail in person at Atomic Books.
