Finding a roommate in Chicago?

I'm moving to Hyde Park and have found an amazing 2-bedroom apartment. Only trouble is I need a roommate and have had no luck so far--are there any resources I haven't tried that you've had luck with?
I've posted on Craigslist, on UChicago's Marketplace, Reddit's /chicagoroommates, and on Facebook. I'm moving in a month and am growing a little desperate. Are any of the roommate-matching websites actually legitimate? Is there anything else I should be considering?

Best answer: Also, in my experience, there are way more people looking for roommates in mid to late August, since the school year begins so late.

Best answer: Roommates.com worked well for me (albeit Pittsburgh, not Chicago)

Best answer: As a former Hyde Park resident, I can confirm stoneandstar's point that most of your potential roommates are not yet in town.

Response by poster: Well, that's good to hear. Thanks folks. I'll look into Roommates.com and I'll try to stay calm for another couple of weeks.
